MiniMX - Problems with sound
« on: August 01, 2016, 04:04:06 PM »
Hi,

I am running the MiniMX with latest OpenElec build ( 6.95.3.2 ).
When I attach the box two my TV via HDMI (TV only has Stereo) I have stuttering sound when I start a TV-Serie.

I can reproduce this each time and I also have a workaround:
While the series is playing, I go to the sound menue, activate passthrough, wait 2 seconds (no sound available because TV doesn't support this) and deactivate passthrough again. Now the sound is ok until the next episodes start.

Maybe you can fix it somehow. If you need more information no problem.

Regards

P.S.: I cannot register on the amlinuxmedia forum, got "You did not answer the verification questions correctly.". Some problem here on the forum or did I miss something?  :o

I bought a new MiniMX from Futeko. When playing I have a lag in the audio for all of my files.  When playing the same movies with Q10Pro there is no issue at all. Plese note that some of the files are even 720p 3 GB files encoded H264 (Not heavy, that's what I meant) .The audio setting do not have SPDIF output. It has got Analogue output, HDMI and then Pulse/Bluetooth settings only.
