Q5 Pro no sound when using TV

Can anyone help please?

When I use my Q5 Pro on with my receiver or tv, I get no sound when just using the TV.

I have a q5 Pro, a Devon AVR1911 receiver, a Panasonic TX-49AX630B and a Sony BDP-S4100 bluray player. The TV is connected to the receiver by HDMI to the primary ARC channel, marked TV on the receiver, the Sony bluray player is connected to HDMI 1 into the receiver, marked BD. The Q5 pro is connected to HDMI 2 into the receiver marked DVD.

Without the Q5 pro connected to the receiver, bluray works fine, normal tv works fine. With the Q5 connected to the receiver with HDMI, whether the Q5 is turned on or not (red light on Q5 or blue light on Q5), Q5 works ok, bluray player works ok, but there is no sound from the TV. Unplug the Q5 from the receiver, power cycle everything and I get sound from the TV again. Turn everything on without the Q5 connected, so TV is working ok, plug the Q5 into the receiver whilst all is turned on, and everything is fine, all 3 items give sound output through the receiver. Power cycle again and no sound from TV again.

I have tried changing cables, and HDMI inputs that everything is connected to and it makes no difference. If I connect the Q5 direct to the TV in one of the TVs HDMI inputs, I get the same problem.

What on earth is going on? Can anyone give me any ideas for what to try to fix this.

That sorted it, all good now.

Thanks a lot for the help. Just now need to figure out how to name different versions of the same movie so the IMDB scraper picks them up, e.g. Blade Runner Final Cut and Blade Runner Workprint, kodi only shows 1 of them.
