Based on Q5 Pro HMD-1.0.3 2016-05-25.092623. (this is official Q5 Pro 1.0.3 - a thread and download for official firmware will be added on 13-JUN, after the current Chinese public holiday).

Note: if you use CS firmware don't update via OTA to original HiMedia firmware, will get Google Play Services has stopped error.

We've not tested it, but HiMedia say that you should not flash Chinese firmware to international Q5/Q10 Pro or vice versa.

Certainly, with previous generation Q5/Q10 4K3D you could brick the box by flashing incorrect firmware.

Kodi should work. Just download it from the Kodi website. Current latest 16.1: http://mirrors.kodi.tv/releases/android/arm/kodi-16.1-Jarvis-armeabi-v7a.apk

Play Store will be more difficult to get working. I wouldn't know how.
