Passthrough in mxplayer.

Hi everyone. How i can get sound passthrough in mxplayer or in himedia player watching online media? Or i can get it only in kodi? There are some sound options in himedia q5, and online media in mxplayer working with passthrough. But I can't find any sound options in h8 box. When I play some online movie in mxplayer I see only stereo on my AV reciever, but if I play the same movie using kodi I see dolby digital.

Also in media center there is no pashtrought too. Only pcm. And that time i played 3d iso with dts and dd ac3 sound. What am i doinng in a wrong way. Sorry for bad English.

Settings - Playback - HDMI Output should be set to HDMI.

Not sure about MX Player but passthrough definitely works in HiMedia player and Kodi.

Thank you for your reply. Settings-playback-hdmi output is hdmi. But on reciever is only PCM. No metter what is playing, mkv, iso, avi, online media. And no metter which audio track is selected dd, dts, ac3. How to fully reinstall firmware? When I reinstall firmware using reset button I still have some old folders and settings from another apps, and  kodi settings.

First do a factory reset. Settings - More - Back&Reset - Factory Data Reset (with erase SD card).

Then install firmware via reset button method.

Passthrough does definitely work. Hopefully a complete wipe as above will fix it for you.
