OTA App.
« on: March 29, 2016, 04:01:40 PM »
Early in the New Year when the current firmware was released, why did the OTA app not detect that there was an update available. If it is not for this, then what is it for?

The OTA app should work from firmware 1.0.9 onwards.

So for next update it should notify you.

Will the OTA install the new firmware automatically or it will need to confirm that want to update first? I don't like "automatic updates". Tkx

It will pop up a notification asking if you want to install the update.

It won't be automatic and you won't be forced to install.
