Subtitle Support

Hi - I currently have a 6 year old HiMedia Q10 Pro I have been using for my local media playback using a 3.5 8TB HD. One of my biggest requirements is good subtitle downloading and customization as my son is deaf and we need to have subs on for everything. Do these players offer such features? I am looking to upgrade to a new media player and this one seems to have a lot of what I need but does anyone have any real world experience with the sub implementation during playback?

Can we choose which service downloads the subs, can we choose where it is positioned, does it offer font and size options and how does it handle SDH/CC prompts. For example if a song or music is playing, does it show the music notes to indicate. Does it show the names of who is speaking if provided in the sub file? Not all players do which is why I am asking.

Thank you very much for the help and screen shots. I am not sure how to provide the sub samples. If the subs are not included on my video files I use Kodi to download them. I don't know where they are located online. My apologies for my ignorance but I appreciate the assistance!!

The screen shots look like these devices offer the customization I am looking for. The only other thing is how they look on the screen when playing music or how it shows SDH sounds (not dialogue)
