Himedia Q10 Pro shoutdown server after a while
« on: November 21, 2022, 02:59:45 PM »
Hi all,

a friend sold me his Himedia Q10 Pro some days ago.
Here the device info:
- Android Version: 7
- Kernel: 3.18.24
- Build: HMD-2.0.9 2018-07-10.172915

I want to use it to share its internal HDD for upload files by PC and using DLNA server to watch movie on my 2 tvs.

Now, I have some throubles:
1) when i check on my tv i see "TV BOX Multimedia device", but internally it shows only SDCard's folder and not my internal HDD. There is a way to show the HDD files without setting it as primary storage (in android settings)?

2) I've also have Kodi installed and it works good. When I turn on my tv box now I can find 2 multimedia device: "Kodi" and "TV BOX"... there is a way to turn off "TV BOX" device? (if so then the point above can be skipped)

3) (MOST IMPORTANT) after a while the device is running, the multimedia devices shared, my samba device mapped on my PC and the devise itself (from networks devices) disappear.
If I check with HDMI connection there is no error and (for example Kodi) is running.
Only way I have to "fix" it is to restart the device...
WHY????
I'm connected to internet to ethernet cable.

I hope someone can help me..
It's my first time with a TV box..

thanks,
