Dune max vision vs zidoo 3000 best results in sound ( DAC)

Hello,

For those who have had a zidoo 3000 and the dune hd max vision.

Which of the two did you find stereo sounded better with analog and coax?

Did you find any differences in sound quality in 5.1 multichannel and in home cinema via hdmi between the two devices?

The Zidoo has (normally) a better dac but this is not enough to be better, there are other important components.

On the other hand, the zidoo's dac must be deactivated for analog listening (possible with the remote control). is it the same with the Dune Max vision where the dac is activated on all outputs (coaxial, analog, optical as the Oppo brand did?

It's the sound part that I'm looking for above all because I think the image is just as good in both devices.

Have a Zidoo UHD3000 myself and had the opportunity to try a Dune Max Vision.

I like both players and both offer excellent value for money. They are different though on several aspects.

Looking just at the sound:
The Max compares best with a Zidoo X20 Pro (almost an UHD2000) regarding sound via the DAC. An UHD3000 is far better getting closer to the Dune Ultra.
For HDMI audio the Dune models are definitely somewhat better than equivalent Zidoo players.
Only Neo X and Neo Alpha again beat the Dunes on audio via HDMI.

Obviously subjective like hell.
