Laager, I do agree very much. Kodi19.0 and 19.1 doesn't work in the Q10 Pro and on my Windows 10 Pro pc. I went back to Kodi version 18.9 and everything is working fine again. A waste of time and effort because I needed to install many things again.....

How did you go back to 18.9?

UPDATE! ! !
I needed to edit the information below from Futeko. I do apologize.

There are a couple of sites, you have to uninstall version 19.0 or 19.1 first totally. I used this one; https://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=4364.msg33027#msg33027,
and; http://mirrors.kodi.tv/releases/android/arm/Good luck.

I have somehow allowed Kodi to update itself to 19.1.  This has fixed the internal and external HDD names and removed the duplication of drives  ;D

It does then need to completely re-scrape all movies but does appear to retain the watched tick.
I am glad I waited for it to get fixed, rather than go back and start again (due to the complexity of my library across multiple drives and NAS').

Sorry you had to scan with the scraper of all movies because skins probably is no longer compatible with the new version?

No, it actually kept all my NAS movie and TV library unchanged, it was only the HDD's that required re-scanning of content.  It therefore was not the skin setting.  As soon as 19.1 ran, the content all showed up as the filenames, with no metadata.  It more likely had something to do with the generic drive names like sba2 (that became duplicated in the Kodi library) shown in 19.0 that reverted back to the allocated drive names in 19.1.

Very important!
From the Kodi 19 version you can access the network SMB://....    Only by user and password

https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=362115

The credentials are saved in the folder: "mediasources.xml" and "passwords.xml"
In this example I use SD card:
"\\192.168.1.xxx\share\sdcard\Android\data\org.xbmc.kodi\files\.kodi\userdata"
