Just got a new Q10 4k3D, Need help.

Hello guys i just received a new q10 4k3D from China (i guess), and i would like to new if it the European firmware or not. It was shipped with a charge adapter to suit my state (Italy). Tried to update thru the net and it said "You got the latest box" so not really sure if it updated or not.

Model N. Q10EN.2000
Android version 4.4.2
Kernel version 3.10.0_s40
Build N. HMD-3.0.1 2015-09-09.101552

So i would like to know if it updated to the latest firmware/version. I saw Kodi and i would like to know if i can use other player like MxPlayer and AndStream app to stream from web.
I mounted a new 4 TB Toshiba HDD 7.200 RPM with a couple of film and BlueRay just to test it.
I have an android Tablet but here i can't find the familiar android "Home" interface, can I install it?
On the net i read about an Himedia player wrapper or something similar, i don't have it. Where i can find it?
Is it this European version?

Does the pre-installed firmware have the HiTV HiMedia app? If it does then it's the Chinese hardware. I don't know if it's possible to identify region based on model number.

Just googled a little bit and found that they actually shipped the UK charger with the adapter charger for my country (Italy), so the product should be European.
