Problems with subtitles...........HELP!!
« on: March 22, 2020, 04:54:33 PM »
Where I live I get a good coverage of modern films, sometimes without problems sometimes with. One of my most occuring problems is with EXTERN subtitles, so I download a film and I also have to download the subtitles. Problem is my Q10 won`t or doesn`t recognise that the SRT subtitles are also in the menu, my Dune has no problem with it.
The other way to download here is a film with subtitles already built in (INTERN) or with a menu so that I can choose the subtitle, either way no problem for the Q10.
Is there anyone here who could help me with my EXTERN subtitle problem??

With HiMedia player you'll need to have the subtitles file in the same folder and with the same name as the movie file (same name different extension).
If you only need stereo sound I recommend kodi internal player which is MUCH superior than himedia player handling subtitles. Install opensubtitles add-on to download the subtitles directly from Kodi, it works very well.
