Q10 pro stuck scanning on one TV show even though it shows 100%

I've cleared caches, removed the database for that folder, and set it to re-scan from scratch. but it still gets stuck, and on the same show. the show has no issues scanning on the newer firmware with  android 7.
I reverted to android 5.1 firmware because its more stable, but now I see I'm having plenty of issues with it

any thoughts? aside from going back to Android 7 which I rather not.

Scanning on which app?

You should install latest Android 7. The most recent Android 5.1 firmware is more than 2 years old.
