Freezing and crashing

The box keeps freezing and crashing when trying to watch a movie. Did you test this device and make sure it could withstand basic tasks?

What sort of movies are causing the problems? Codec / container?

It just gets so slow, movies play fine it's just when you try to start watching one you have to hit ok about 5 times at which point it can crash. And then playing and pausing can glitch and then there are many issues if it crashes mid film because it doesn't remember the point you were at when it should.

Maybe it's just the app that's affecting the box... test?

The controller is really crap because if you are further than 1.5m it has the worse response rate. Any recommendations for an alternative controller?

Just wanted to add that the remote is not that bad. Works OK for us here.

on the topic of crashing, I just bought mine from VENZ B.V. and I have the following problem. Box is connected to a Pionneer VSX-LX60 using HDMI. Whenever powered on after 3-10 minutes receiver switches off and only way to turn on again is to turn off Venz V3 or unplug the HDMI cable. This happens not in video playback but while navigating in the menus. I've been using TLBB and this was meant to be an upgrade. Any suggestions?
