Confused about the resolution
« on: December 07, 2018, 02:04:16 PM »
Hy to everyone.I have i Panasonic 4k tv  and ampli  HT Onkyo that supports 4k,hdmi cable High speed 4K @ 60Hz 4096 x 2160p UHD 4:4:4 18Gbps certified.I have set in the settings 2160 60hz and 24p / frame rate adaptation on,enabled wrapper and installed http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=1043.msg7659#msg7659.
WhenI reproduce an iso 4k or 2160p the info on tv report 3840x2160,but the info on Himedia player or kodi report 1920x1080.Furthermore, at the end of the reproduction I find the resolution in the general settings 1920x1080.Last thing: it is not possible to set differently of  Ycbcr 4.2.0 8 bit.
I'm missing something or thi is normal? Thanks

Have you tried without the auto res patch installed? Maybe that causes some mismatch.

You also should be able to set 420 10bit and on the newest FW 420 and 422 12bit. But you just need to reactivate the settings, as it's hidden by default (by some very silly cause).

No, I have not tried without patches. I will try to uninstall it.I'm using Pcristi's firmware 2.10.
If it does not work, I will try the official firmware and the 0351 sequence to activate the new settings.
Thank you very much for the advice.
