HiMedia Wrapper subtitles transparency problem

Watching movies via HiMedia Wrapper/ subtitles on...
If i have some white portion on video i barely see subtitles.
Tried all font effects and colors but no luck.
Looks like some kind of transparency on white.
I mean, i barely see subtitles if they are over a man dressed in something white.
Kodi internal player or MX Player are showing subtitles fine.
Any advice?
