Can not playback ISO Files with Kodi wrapper
« on: April 23, 2018, 03:55:47 PM »
Hello,

I have a problem with my Q10 Pro. The installed the newest official firmware 2.08 and also upgraded to Kodi 17.6.

After configuration of my libary I recognized I am not able to playback .iso BluRay files in Kodi (wrapper).  The files are saved on external USB disks.
I always get the message "video problem".

Mkv files are working fine. I can also playback the iso files using the kodi-player. When I am starting the iso files inside the "media center" on home screen of q10 pro the playback is also working.

Is this a known issue? What can I do?

Fabian

Did you reinstall the Blu-ray .iso patch?  It is not automatically included with firmware (yet):

Check with MediaCenter playback first, before trying Kodi with Wrapper.

It has nothing to do with the BD menu patch.

Rather: Try reactivate the Wrapper. FAQ:  How to reinstall wrapper? Shutdown Kodi. Find wrapper app at My Apps - Wrapper. Select 'use Kodi player'. Exit wrapper app. Run wrapper app again. Select 'use wrapper player'. Exit wrapper app. Restart Kodi.

Also if it won't work try this: How to check wrapper is installed? Run Kodi and navigate to Videos - Files - any video file. Press remote menu key. You should get a 'play using..' option with 'Wrapper' as an option.-> Try to Play the iso this way.
