Android 5.1 or Android 7?
« on: January 20, 2018, 07:15:07 PM »
Hello everyone,
I have got Q10 pro with Android 5.1.

Do I have to upgrade to android 7 or is it better to stay with Android 5.1? If I have to upgrade to Android 7, how to do it?

(thanks in advance for the answers)

If you like Kodi and new Android apps then Android 7 is better!

You should upgrade, there are issues but overall is better. Upgrade to 2.04 and finally to 2.07

If the Q10Pro does everything you want, you can stay as you are.
Android 7 provides a lot of improvements as the operating system, including faster networking and better external drive management.
All the information you need to upgrade is in this forum.
The change to 7 will fully reset your Himedia so you should back up things like Kodi, first (if you use it).

Start with the FAQ thread.

Thanks very much for the replies.
I have some issues (trailers not working, for example) so I'll update to Android 7.
