[Resolved] Network search
« on: April 26, 2018, 07:31:59 AM »
Good morning
With the HiMedia Q10 (FWC 2.0.4) of a friend of mine, I could not detect the folders of a PC connected to the local network, although the PC had all the parameters set correctly, fixed IP and shared folders with the syntax without spaces.
In practice it happened that through MediaCenter> Lan> Autosearch I could detect the name of the pc but not the shared folders.
After several attempts I managed to find out that in the latest releases of Windows 10 must be activated the additional functionality "Server SMD 1.0 / CIFS", which in previous S.O. it worked regularly.

After enabling this feature I was able to access all shared folders.
With this experience I hope to be of help to those who can have the same problem.
