For the past day or so I have not been able to access the manufacturers forum.

I am now a bit concerned   also I have the Egreat 5 besides the forum going down I now see that they have lost there HDMI licence and  in the states  the USA customs are seizing  the Egreat units  because of this. Does this mean the end of Egreat. I do hope not and got this wrong

My Egreat A10 was seized by US customs. I call and ask what the potential issue could be. They said if the manufacture did not pay for the right to use HDMI we seize them.

Anybody familiar with this? Anyone here know if Egreat paid for the right to use HDMI (or is that a bunch of BS from customs).

I will also post question on Egreat forum.

Crazy. I purchased from Geekbuying, and it was in a hub ready to be delivered 5 miles from my house in a week. Then it was seized.

The forum has been back up since Friday. Egreat say database problems.

I'm trying to get a public statement from Egreat about the HDMI adopter situation. For what it's worth, we got a batch of A5 cleared into the UK last night without any problems.
