CEC Himedia Q5 Pro samsung TV and remote

Hi,
Does a basic TV function such as CEC not work on the Himedia Q5 Pro?

I'm trying to use only one remote (my Samsung TV remote) to navigate my Samsung TV and Q5 Pro but I cannot get CEC to work.

CEC works fine on my ancient cheap Chinese box M8 running android 4.4.

It will be surprise if this basic function is not provided or working in the firmware on this higher end Himedia player.

CEC does not work on Q5/Q10 Pro.

Latest firmware 2.0.3 is meant to completely disable CEC so you shouldn't get interference with other devices.

Thanks, I'm on firmware 1.10, it seems to be also disabled in this fw.
