Picture quality - PC HDMI name in Samsung TV
« on: April 24, 2017, 06:59:38 PM »
Hi,

I recently bought a Q10 Pro and was a bit disappointed with the picture quality in Youtube and watching movies when comparing to the Samsung Smart TV embedded player.
What I want to share with you is that changing the name (in the Samsung TV) of the  HDMI input to PC improved the picture quality because other settings are changed besides the name.
TV remote:
press Source
select input
press tools
select Edit name

Give it a try

You should also try to name the source as "Blu-Ray", as it's what's suited and advised best for media players.

I did try it, got the best result with PC or PC-DVI. Also with the "PC" name the screen size is just right, no need to adjustment.
