Vertical stretch for 2.35:1 setups?

Hi!

Does the HiMedia Q10 Pro make a proper vertical stretch for media files (including 4k files),
so I could use it with an external lens and a 2.35:1 screen?

I have already a Nvidia Shield and Kodi there just does not do it, so I am looking
for a better player in that regard.
