kodi - power options -exit

Have reloaded 2.04, but unable to get kodi to exit/close down  on its own, from power options. Essentially I think its freezing as wont then allow any other commands.  Is is a bug as not correctly closing kodi can create other issues long term.

Is there a fix/ workround  to sort this.?

Sorry this not Kodi forum support please post on Kodi forum with debug log included.

Between this can happens when Kodi running background job like update library / scrap movie info / etc and you try to exit. No Debug Log no issue.
