4k not fluwend
« on: December 06, 2016, 07:57:10 AM »
goodmorning,

i have my Q10 pro connected 2 a marantz 1604, and from there to a philips 55pus 8700 television.
everthing works great until i try a 4k movie to play from my apple extreme.
when the movie start no problem, after a few seconds no sound and constant stuttering .
am i doing something wrong?

Are you playing using HiMedia Media Center / wrapper or Kodi? Kodi native player will have trouble with some 4K movies.

And LAN or wifi? For 4K Gigabit LAN is going to work better than wi-fi (even AC wifi).

What protocol is Apple Extreme using to share the media?

If it's Samba and the share is password protected go (from box home screen) My Apps - Wrapper, and enter Samba share user/password details.
