Subtitles default off possible?
« on: April 27, 2016, 02:38:58 PM »
Possibly I am missing something, but is it possible to have the subtitles defaulting to off, i.s.o. allways on?
In the Media Center Player I can only find the option to change the default language in the menu settings.
In my opinion there should be an 'off' or 'none' option added to the list of different language options.

I do not want subtitles to always show and then have to cycle through all available subtitles first to switch them off when starting a video.
Totally sucks... But maybe I am the only lazy one here ofcourse!
:-)

I have searched the forums but could not find any answer.

From media player menu the Subtitle Settings - Sub switching setting should stick.

So if you set this to 'Close' then default should be off for future video with subs.

Doesn't seem to work. I didn't manage to do a default setting to "close" with this wrapper: HWrapper-1.0.1_HMD_0505_Release_.apk

It even changes to the language set in default settings after restaring the same movie.

I even couldn't really turn off the Subs on Q5 4k, and on Q10 Pro, the same.
I cannot turn Subs off. I there are Subs, they are shiwed, and each time I have to switch them off again.
