No video on a 4K file from USB

I have a couple of 4K files and i can get them to play from a NAS drive complete with picture and sound - but no HDR though (?) - , but i cant get a picture when playing from USB3 - any ideas?

There is a known bug with current firmware where HDR material is displayed without picture when played through SDR TV. This was not a problem in pre-production firmwares and will be resolved in next firmware update.

I can't understand why a file would play OK through NAS but not USB3 though. I can replicate the problem, but without a picture regardless of source.
