How to move apps to the main screen in Q5?

Does anybody know how to move some apps to the main screen.  There are couple of apps that I use on regular basis, but they are on the second page of the screen.  Anyway to move these apps to the bottom of the main screen underneath the media centre?  I see there a icon for customization, but not sure how to use this, or whether this can be used to move some apps to the main screen.
