FAQ
Q: First use? Provide the A2K with power and plug it into an HDMI port. You will get a screen with the mode in top left corner (e.g. 'Miracast') and a box in the middle saying 'Status: Waiting for connection'. The A2K should be visible to your sending device as a Miracast device with name 'VCAST-XXXXXX'.
Q: Switching between Miracast and DLNA? The hole on the side of the dongle marked 'Miracast/DLNA' contains a switch at it's base. Use a pin / pen to push this switch.
Q: Changing settings? Switch the A2K into DLNA mode. You'll see a message with a URL (something like http://192.168.49.1/) in the bottom left corner of the screen. Visit this URL using the sending device's web browser.
Q: Output resolution? The A2K outputs at a fixed 720p 60Hz. Most TVs will be OK with this, but please check your TV before purchasing.
Q: The sending device can see the A2K ('VCAST-XXXXXX') but nothing on the TV? The A2K outputs at 720p 60Hz. If your Miracast sending device can see the A2K but you see nothing on the TV then it is most likely that your TV doesn't like the 7200p 60Hz signal. To test this try another TV. The resolution and refresh rate on the A2K are fixed.
