Mistakes were made
« on: February 09, 2015, 05:13:34 PM »
I did something stoopid.  I deleted a load of system apps on my q10 4k3d and now it won't boot.  Gets as far at the second Himedia logo and just sticks.  What's the chances of performing a USB firmware upgrade solving all my woes and me not losing my entire set up?  I'm about to try the firmware upgrade anyway but I don't expect it to work so I'm putting the feelers out for any kind of advice. (Other than don't delete system apps however Chinese or ugly they may be).

Update:  Don't know whether to be happy or sad, the firmware update worked but it's been a factory reset basically, all my settings and stuff gone.  The box works but I'd put hours and hours into setting that sucker up.  LESSON LEARNED.
