add video source does not appear
« on: February 02, 2016, 01:20:17 PM »
I'd like to add some video folders in Kodi, but under Video/files/ does not appear "add video source"
the Q10 does not have internal HDD.

In Kodi, if you go VIDEOS - Files, what options do you get?

You should see 'Add videos...' as the bottom of at least two options (top one will be sda1 then others depending what storage you have attached).

Very strange. I've never known that to happen before. What firmware is installed? Have you installed any version of Kodi other than the pre-installed one?

My general advice would be to reinstall firmware using the reset button method as described in this thread: http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=494.0

I am sure that it's not a hardware problem so a fresh hardware install will fix it.
