hello, im from asia, sorry if i asked this with bad english
Before buying Himedia H8. I have logitech z906 5.1 and used to watch movie from KODI (connect with optical)
can i get sound effect like in the theatre, let say in fast furious 7 when paul walker jump from the bus (i don't know to said it in english). Thanks before

Your Logitech Z906 support DTS sound (not DTS HD/ MA) so you will not get the best possible solution but most effects you will get if you use SPDIF/Toslink/Optical cable.

The H8 do have output for SPDIF cable so you should be able to have some pleasure with the H8 box now that the 1.0.9 firmware have arrived.

Connect H8 to Logitech z906 using S/PDIF cable to get 5.1 surround.

Android Settings:

Settings - Playback - HDMI Output: SPDIF.

Kodi Settings:

SYSTEM - Settings - System - Audio output:

Number of channels: 5.1
Enable passthrough: CHECK
Dolby Digital capable receiver: CHECK
DTS capable receiver: CHECK

Thx for reply my need is to watch bdrip mkv with  dts audio no need 4k for now actually,  two more question, 
1. can h8 quad core produce the same audio quality with setup above?
2. Should i bought h8octacore or q5 quad coz they at the same price in my country.

1. Yes.
2. Q5 quad is discontinued so that may be a factor in your decision. Q5 has better image quality (the best), H8 is more powerful overall.
