Dune HD Pro Vision 4K Solo - Sound Issue

I've noticed that whenever I use any other player for music other then the internal player, the sound cuts out randomly, like a brief pause then it resumes. If I use Kodi and have music running in the background while navigating menues, the music will cut out briefly just from hitting back or selecting full screen or going into the visualization setting, it's random. I could back out to the Dune UI and select sources and it would do it. Any ideas how to stop that from happening?

So I discovered a few things. When you first boot up the box from new it asks you to upgrade the firmware. When you do that, it doesn't include google play or android TV. If you install a file explorer and search .APKs in the root, the files show up but wont let you install them. If you revert to the firmware the box comes with, you can install google play and android TV and then upgrade the firmware and it will keep the apps installed but you get the sound issue I was talking about as well the air mouse remote sometimes freezes too. So I reset the box with the upgraded firmware and there is no sound or air mouse problems now but I don't get android tv or google play. I'm hoping that will be fixed with the next firmware.

So they released a new firmware 210214_0331_r17 which adds the google play and android tv apps back, but it also brought back the issues with music cutting out intermittently while navigating menus and the air mouse freezing.

Managed to sort it by quickly going into the menu and doing a full reset!

I also encountered a similar case. Looks like I missed an installation step.

I was watching a movie the other day when it froze. Nothing on the remote would get me from the frozen screen. Not even the standby button. Had to shut it down completely. Restarted the system and it wouldn't boot past the initial screen.
