Hello Pcristi.
How do I use this subtitle changer? I take one font from the folder, rename it subtitle, and run the command?
And to go back put back initial subtitle.ttf and run command or put AROALUNI.ttf renamed subtitle and run command? Cheers.

Let suppose want use TVQSSubtitle.ttf then copy from fonts/TVQSSubtitle.ttf to subtitle.ttf.
Run RUN_ME.cmd(double click) input IP of box when ask and choose 1 - Install subtitle.ttf to Subtitles fonts and reboot box when is finish with option 9 or manually.
After box are rebooted open HiMediaVideoPlayer then will see are use installed font.
If don't like try other font are a lot of free fonts on internet or use option 2 - Restore defaults Subtitles fonts this will revers a changes.

Note:
-- HiMediaVideoPlayer use as defaults ARIALUNI.ttf for Latin/Cyrillic language which can be extract from update.zip/system/fonts/ARIALUNI.ttf for case when option 2 are not working as expected.
-- When patch is active subtitle font can be change it overwritten /sdcard/Android/data/com.himedia.android.videoplayer/fonts/subtitle.ttf

Thanks.
But you said that these fonts are useful for when strange characters are displayed, squares, etc.
Problem is also with encoding of charsets, even new fonts make strange characters for Ș and Ț, even apostrophe.

Subtiles with ȘșȚț (comma below) are always UTF-8 --> HiMediaVideoPlayer subtitles encoding to Auto.
Divico Headline (subtitle.ttf) show correct.

Nor all Unicode fonts are follow Unicode 3.0 or newest.

ŞşŢţ ȘșȚț

Between Microsoft change in ending of 2019 Romanian standard keyboard to input ȘșȚț (comma below) then more subtitles will use ȘșȚț (comma below) UTF-8 instead of ŞşŢţ (cedilla) from ANSI Windows-1250.

Sometimes it is not enough to go with setting AUTO for subtitle encoding. People translating sometimes mix up encondings and I had every time to set manually AUTO or Central Europe (ISO8859_2). Otherwise strange signs instead of subtitle. Cheers.

Probably a easy way is to convert srt files to UTF-8.
Open with Notepad++ press encoding and if encoding is "encode in ANSI" then character sets / Central European / Windows 1520 or Eastern Europe / ISO 8859-2 and if ŞşŢţ are display proper then encoding convert to UTF-8 and save.
