Customizing the Home and Live Wallpapers

I think there is no possibility to customize the home screen such as changing the icons to match the default home gui. And I really don't need applock'cleanup and about buttons on my home screen. Is there a possibility to customizing the default launcher? I know there are plenty of launcher alternatives but I prefer the default which seems appropriate for the medai boxes IMHO. As a previous himedia owner, I would really like to use livewallpapers on my box but apparently the box doesn't support live wallpapers on home screen. Thanks in advance.

The default launcher is customisable by changing the apps and changing the wallpaper (Settings - Display - Wallpaper). The applock and cleanup buttons cannot be removed.

You can however install an alternative launcher.
