Q10 Pro keeps defaulting to 1080i
« on: September 07, 2018, 02:07:37 AM »
I got my Harmony Ultimate home to sync with my JVC  790r, Yamaha receiver and the Q10 pro but every time  I turn them on at once, the video keeps resetting back to 1080i on the Q10.  I assuming it might be because the JVC takes 10 seconds to turn on. I can adjust the delay in the turn on for the Q10 but that will add a delay every time I switch inputs. How can I get it to stick to the resolution I want?

Try to turn on Q10 Pro first before anything else.

Harmony Ultimate, Home advanced delay fixing can get direct from menu

Select JVC  790r device, Change Delay, Power On Delay and set 10 sec delay or more if need.

I will try this, too bad the JVC take 30 seconds to power up as it is.

So what's the exact resolution for this problem (the descriptions are confusing) in a nutshell?

Do we need to turn on the Box at first or rather the display/AVR?
