Enabling H265/HEVC 10bit video playback in Kodi 15.2
« on: November 02, 2016, 01:14:51 AM »
I've got a Q5 4K3D Himedia with firmware 3.0.3 installed and Kodi 15.2. My problem is that Kodi don't support HEVC 10bit video playback (with HEVC/H265 8bit video no problem, everything works fine). Anyone knows if there is a way to enable HEVC 10bit video playback in Kodi 15.2 ? Or any other way I can solve this problem ?

Thanks in advance

The Q5/Q10 4K3D models do not support 10bit colour. This is a feature added to the subsequent Pro generation products.
