Picture rotation
« on: December 27, 2017, 08:26:01 PM »
Hi,

I've started using integrated Himedia player to show pictures from LAN. It works fine in general, but it doesn't rotate pictures correctly. Many pictures, especially taken with smart phones, wave rotation info in meta (exif) data. Almost every player/software takes this data into account to show picture in correct rotation, but not Himedia player.

Please fix this bug...

Hey Himedia...any progress on this feature.
It is really annoying to watch pictures on the device...everyone had to rotate their head all the time.

I will report it to Himedia as a bug, but a solution would be to use a different app for viewing photos. Himediaplayer has always been a bit rubbish for photos.

Personally I would install the mount network location in filesystem patch (http://www.futeko.com/newforum/index.php?topic=813.0) and use Google Photos.
