What version of Kodi?

I don't know what version of Kodi you're using on those other products you mention, but in general Kodi 17 is troublesome with many addons. I advise installing Kodi 16 or 18 beta and you'll likely see an improvement.

For the second addon you mention I advise turning off himedia wrapper so it plays using kodi player.

* How to uninstall wrapper? Shutdown Kodi. Find wrapper app at My Apps - Wrapper. Select 'use Kodi player'. Exit wrapper app. Restart Kodi.

Kodi 17.6 in all my devices.
