Kodi add-on script problem

A question about Kodi. The add-on "ExtendedInfo Script" stopped working a couple of weeks ago on my Q10 Pro (with Himedia FW2.04/Android 7.0/Kodi 17.3 nightly). I've uninstalled the script and reinstalled it but it still fails  .
I've installed Kodi 17.3 nightly for Windows on my desktop and here the ExtendedInfo Script works???.
So, is the problem with Kodi 17.3 or Himedia FW2.04?

I already found that via Google, but if you look to the end of the thread it dies without a solution. Also most of the discussion is about the Windows version.
I was hoping someone here could check if they have "ExtendedInfo Script" working on their HiMedia box. I think its a very useful add-on.

Maybe you should try to ask it on the KODI forum or -with presumably more chance- on their IRC channel.

 ExtendedScript works well on Kodi 18.0 (alpha). In fact, much better than it did on previous versions!

In the end they fixed on Kodi 17.6

Sorry but I don't think that  it is fixed  .

I installed Kodi 17.6 last week when I upgraded my Q10 to HMD-2.0.6 2017-10-25.

But ... with  Kodi 17.6 the ExtendedInfo Script only works when selecting an actor's image and pressing the "Up-arrow" to get the actors details. It does NOT work on the Extended Info tile on the movie menu strip. It just brings up the same "'could not find valid content type" error message that it's been doing for months!

I've now re-installed Kodi 18.0 and ExtendedInfo script works perfectly again!
