Q10 pro Subtitles for mkv
« on: July 21, 2017, 03:24:54 AM »
Hello all, I just bought a set of himedia Q10 pro recently and I absolutely love it. I am using the default himedia video player and  have encounter a problem with mkv files with no embedded subtitles. Is there an option to add my subtitle file *.srt while playing the video similar to what VLC player can do? I have downloaded the srt file together with the mkv but there is no option to direct the player to select the file. The only option I have is download.

Please anyone advise me on that? or is there a storage file location for srt file?

Hi,
Subtitles file should be in the same folder and with the same name (except extension .srt), when playing video press button "7" of the remote.

Thank you. It works with the renaming the subtitle file to the same name as the mkv.
