mostly confused

I have been using media boxes for awhile. My  only interest in them is for xxxxxxxxx and related repos. Shame on me, I guess, right.  Anyway, when I read tips and comments  I see a bunch of initials and such that don't mean shit to me. Typically I buy a 45.00 dollar Chinese box, fully loaded, and it works fine. When it doesn't I throw it and buy another. My question is if I step up for this Q10 will the video quality be appreciably better and just as importantly will I find the same ease of operation.

I have removed the references to illegal add-ons from your post.

I think that kind of sums things up.

The fully loaded boxes are designed for piracy, our products are designed for playback of locally stored content in the highest possible quality. HiMedia Q5/Q10 Pro are overkill for running the Kodi piracy addons.
