Lost audio stream in HD TS media
« on: January 14, 2017, 09:22:37 AM »
I'm not sure if this is unique to the current V2 firmware, or even the Q10 Pro but I have recently had a couple of HD TS recordings of natural history broadcasts that have had second audio tracks for those whose sight is impaired. Unfortunately the Q10 can only see the second of these two muxed tracks, namely the sight impaired one. Selecting the Audio option cannot reveal the correct default track. I know it is there as it can be played correctly using the VLC player on my PC.  Most of the time the Q10 does a pretty good job of decoding TS streamed material.
I can get the track back by remuxing the recording to MP4 using Handbrake but it's a nuisance, and there's a slight loss in video quality.
Can Himedia take a look at HD TS streams to ensure that all audio tracks are recoverable please?
