Just be aware that v.1.0.9 has a bug: 3D ISO defaults to 720p. Must switch to 2D mode & back to 3D to fix (to get 1080p). But, v.1.0.9 does do 23.976 perfectly.

Haven't had a chance to load the new/official 1.0.9 yet... is the 720p bug still there? We had alerted HiMedia engineers about this; if so, wish they had fixed before releasing.

It's still there. Himedia are working on it.

I think it was worth getting 1.0.9 out for the 23.976 fix and the resolution of the major kodi/chrome update bug.
