Can not boot Himedia Q10 pro
« on: November 25, 2017, 10:22:37 AM »
Suddenly unable to boot Himedia q10 pro. The screen is black and the sign on the box says Boot. However this constantly fades in and out before the box eventually turns itself off.

The only thing you can do is reinstall the firmware using the restore button method. Do you know which version you have?

Try and reinstall firmware using the update button (on back - as described in our firmware threads) and the last known working firmware.

The problem you describe sounds like it might be a power supply problem, in which case try replacing the PSU. You can use any 12V 1.5A+ PSU (up to 4A). Tip size is 5.5 x 2.1 with center pin positive.

If you bought the box from us, email mail@futeko.com for support.
