Hi,
I've inserted a new HDD in my HiMedia Q10 Pro. The disk is initialized, formatted (GPT) and a movie was added via USB.
Then the Q10 was re-attached to the tv (HDMI) and ethernet (RJ45). This all worked as expected.
Now I want to access the Q10-HDD via ethernet on my Windows 10 PC so I can copy movies and such onto it.
Q10:
- Installed latest firmware and updates
- Started Samba (no password)
Windows 10:
- Enabled Windows feature: SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support
Restarted Q10 and PC (just to make sure all settings are activated)
In Windows Explorer I see computer "ANDROID_B14CE" in my network. But I still can't access it. When I doubleclick on it I get error "No access to ANDROID_B14CE". Also I can't get access to it via IP-address \\192.168.0.xxx
I can access movies on the same PC from inside Kodi and Mediaplayer on Q10.
Is there any setting I need to set in order to get access?
