Himedia Q10 Pro slow start??
« on: September 13, 2016, 12:39:08 PM »
I have the Q10 Pro which I am very satisfied with but have an interesting problem......

I have a Seagate 8TB in the HDD and, via a powered USB hub, a number of external USB drives connected whilst I'm transferring everything to the internal hard drive.

Since a few days, when I start the Q10 Pro, I get the start splash screen and then it hangs for sometimes, 5 minutes before it goes to then start screen. Is this because I have a internal HDD and external HDDs connected at the same time or can it be another reason???

If you remove the attached drives one by one and reboot it will help you determine what's causing the delayed boot.

Boot shouldn't be anything near 5 minutes, even with many attached drives.
