Try to switch on your tv box first before other peripherals. After done watching, switch off your tv box first before others.
I encountered this issue before but now no more.

I think the problem lies in the internal battery of the device because this only happens when the device is turned off more than 48 hours of electricity, I always turn off the device completely, because in stand by consumes 1W!

No, first upgrade to official 2.04 and after that you can install CFW 2.04 or 2.05

Hello!

CFW 1.1.0 has the  HiMediaVideoPlayer 1.0.7 HMD_0308_Realease. Is this downgraded from the official 1.0.7 fw, or is this the original can be found in official 1.1.0?!

Also: does KODI 17.4 working correctly with this release (as a Jukebox and for IPTV playback only, no local content)?

Only CFW 2.0.4 have downgrade player version, all other version follow HiMedia player version from original FW.

Quick question.  Kodi 17.5 is coming. Should  I  update from 17.4 on the custom firmware or stay with 17.4? Worried about losing 5.1 surround sound. Love that I don't have to use a shitty build with your custom firmware.

Hi Pcristi, hello everybody,
Just on the Kodi 17.5 issue, a brief news,
I am on 2.0.5 and after upgrading to Kodi 17.4 over PlayStore, last night Kodi automatically upgraded to 17.5.
Terrible experience. Kodi got force closed everytime it tried to start. Not once could i start it.
I was lucky to have rooted my device and had apps backed up with Titanium Backup, that I could restore Kodi 17.4 otherwise I would have had to reinstall all 2.0.5 all over and wipe everything.
Now I setup my PlayStore to NOT automatically upgrade averything and I keep Kodi in the dark...

Kodi 17.5.1 include a fix of startup crash and is roll out on Google play soon will be available over automatic update, until then get it form Kodi mirror.

Workaround for KODI 17.5 bug.

First download the 17.5.1 version here   http://mirrors.kodi.tv/releases/android/arm/kodi-17.5.1-Krypton-armeabi-v7a.apk
Now copy this to a usb drive , insert the usb drive in your Q10.  Now use Es file explorer or APK Installer  and open usb drive. Install app and it will upgrade the 17.5 kodi version and you library and addons wil remain intact.
