SPMC 16.4.1 with Q10 Pro

Hello,

Did eveyone knows if we can use SPMC with Q10 Pro. I installed the last version to have test and can't use the remote control with, ca,'t navigate into the menu, have to use the mouse option !!!!! Someone helps..... or we have to stay in Kodi 16.1. Thanks

IR Remotes are very much device dependent using an unique device-ID as part of the IR command. This to avoid remotes working on the wrong device.
You could try an advanced pointer mouse with keyboard. It probably works just fine as these use a dongle at the receiving end which is paired (like Bluetooth). Many verified here to pick from.

Keymapper maybe does the job for you also.

Thanks but using the mouse pointer is not very nice way. How to change the keymapper for having the navigation in SMPC ? Did someone has already use with the Q10 Pro.......

I have also installed SPMC on my Q10 pro after reading some recommendations here.  I am experiencing the same lack of ability to navigate with the Q10 pro's IR remote.  Kodi works fine with the remote.

Since there have been some folks on this forum who have recommended it I am hoping the IR remote can be made to work as in the regular Kodi.

Can anyone share how they use SPMC with the remote please?

Change the skin, ex. Confluence.
Air mouse is the best for this box, I can't use normally the android box without that.

I had meant to reply before that once I switched to 'Confluence skin' the remote worked fine.  To me it is an almost identical experience to the regular Kodi 16.1.

To change the skin initially back to confluence  I did have to use my keyboard.
