I appreciate your feedback...Hmm, its first  time I know that 7200 rpm is not desirable for the Q10..Thats maybe the reason my drive does not last long in that   device..?
May Iknow from your experience
Does the 5400 rpm drive does  not slow down the playing of  50 gb 4 k video?

Greetings guys...May I know the maximum capacity HDD 7200 rpm, that can fit into the HiMedia Q10.?
I am downloading 4 k movies which are over 50 GB in size and my 2TB HDD is now too cramped  for it.
Therefore
I am planning to get a bigger one and I want to hear from experienced Q10 users about the big capacity of HDD for their Q10
Further what Hdd brands are reliable to use.

I appreciate your reply..AFAIK I have not installed any applications since late last year.This blackout problem occurs just recently.
 I followed suggestions also for android devices , such log out and log in, updating the browser, cleaning the cache of the apps but did not improve the situation..

Hello guys,  may I know the reason for sudden blackouts when playing youtube and Netflix videos.? My firmware for my Asia edition was (dated August 2019 )updated late  last year..Any suggestions about the reasons for this problem?

Well I was watching an FHD video..and it suddenly freezes and screen goes black. If I press return to watch for another video, there is an audio but no videoI have to restart the Himedia to enable the normal performance of you tube.

I have noticed this on you tube version 2.07 and lately the version 2.08..While watching you tube videos for some time, the video just stop and screen turn black.Is there anyone familiar with this problem..This happens If I watch the you tube video without any advertisement..It suddenly becomes black. I have to restart the Himedia so you tube will work normally again.

Greetings guys Last time I installed the you tube version 2.07 which was launched last July 2019..Now I am experiencing " video freezing "as well as black screen..What are your opinions about it..Do I need to upgrade to version 2.08  which was in existence just early this month.Would it solve the mentioned problems.?

Hello guys, after I restore  or done factory reset,of my q10 ,, Then when i  logged in google play I put in settings not to update,,,So it will  ensure that if the  apps are not updated and I can install selectively the version of you tube that is version2.0 . Now when the new you tube was installed the old youtube  icon wont work anymore , so I had to copy another icon of youtube.... Now my problem is I want to remove the old icon of non working youtube existing in the Himedia screen but there seems to be no button for such removal..
Do you guys have experienced  the same issue that you want to intall the non existing icon but won't work? How did  you resolve it.?

Were you able to see it in the settings--> , storage, is the particular HDD is seen as working or corrupted?  I once  installed an  unformatted HDD in Q10 pro and it was  seen as corrupted USB ,,,,  but when I formatted it using the PC and then   loading files  into  it and  put it back in Himedia Q10 pro  it  worked...

Greetings guys...I have this pesky problem. The factory installed you tube app in Q10pro  is being forced to be updated to the version which I don't like .Is there a tweak to prevent it and .I already went to google play setting where I stopped all apps update  right after signing in after factory reset Yes I see the you tube version 1.3.11 which runs well .
But after I restarted the Himedia..When I open the you tube app .There was a notice to update and I can't  run you tube anymore. Is there a tweak to prevent the you tube update.?
Or is there a similar version of this 1.3.11. compatible to the Himedia q10 pro,?
 If there is may I know the version and where I can download it directly . The version that this Himedia is forcing  me to  update is version 14.38.53  which I find messy ..use.. It does not even have a history
This was the version that was installed before I conducted a factory reset to restore to the old You tube version...

I think there is a problem with the plug as I checked the snugness of fit . I will be looking a replacement this coming Sunday.
