I tried that too. I also used different HDMI cable types. Makes no difference, just a black screen. The Menu is still reacting, but no playback of HEVC content possible. I can not test the player on a 4k TV. But the player should be able to downscale and decode HEVC.

I also have a Egreat and Himedia player. They have no Problem with HEVC content. I will ask for a refund.

I tried to playback two of the HEVC Jellyfish Video Bitrate Test Files. One in HD one 4K. Nope, just a black screen.

Quite disapointing performance for media box, which should meet the latest standards

Could you get a response from the manufacturer.

I received the Dune HD Pro today.

I have the same Problem

. I am testing on a 1080p monitor. Full HD MKV no Problem. UHD MKV just a black screen. The menu is still reacting, but I can not stop the playback.

I tried several options reduced colour depth, framerate and so on. Makes no difference.
